Religious Events
Overview –
We have assisted many churches and religious
organizations over the years. Sometimes we may be working in the
sanctuary for a special service or in an exhibition hall for a
religious conference.
Services –
Planning –
Usually our client has
determined the time and location of the event, so our participation
in the planning process usually is limited to technical planning
only. We often will measure their sanctuary (or other area of the
church) to help determine best projection locations, etc. We would
then provide a scale drawing of the area showing all equipment
placement (both equipment we provide and church owned), best viewing
positions and viewing obstructions (columns, etc.) If the event is
to be held in an exhibition hall we also provide a scale drawing
showing screen(s) placement, video projector placement, etc.
Equipment
Computer Graphic/I-Mag/Video
Projection –
If PowerPoint presentations or video tapes
are presented we will provide the necessary computers, tape decks.
projector(s), and screen(s). In the case of multiple
projectors/screens, we provide all necessary signal distribution
equipment and cables. In an exhibition hall the equipment is often
flown. We usually provide special mounts for the projectors
and handle all rigging of the projector and screens. We can
provide video cameras and switching equipment for I-Mag or we
can interface with equipment supplied and operated by our clients.
Stage Lighting/Backdrops -
Depending on the situation, we may provide
lighting for the stage area as well as a drapery backdrop in a
variety of colors. We may also attach any client provided
banners/signs to this backdrop.
Audio Equipment –
Over the years we have provided a wide
variety of audio equipment for church services. For services that
exceed the seating capacity of the sanctuary, we have set up a
complete audio system in the fellowship hall or gymnasium for the
overflow. This is usually used with a video projector in a closed
circuit situation with video camera(s) in the sanctuary. Sometimes
there are more soloists than handheld wireless microphones. For
these events we may provide some wireless microphones and an
auxiliary microphone mixer to be added to the churches main audio
mixer.
